Consultancy Services for Building Condition survey & damaged assessment of Royal Calcutta Turf club for the Proposed Project premises at 11, RUSSEL STREET, KOLKATA – 700 071.
Scope of Work
Building condition survey of Royal Calcutta Turf Club
- Condition Assessment of the RCTC Heritage Building including its foundation details, distress mapping, estimation of mortar strength, etc., in conjunction with the requirement of the relevant stipulations of conservation of heritage structure.
- Site visit.
Building damage assessment study.
- Study of the details of construction methodology to be adopted, including earthwork retaining system by diaphragm wall/sheet piling/shoring details, etc.
- Prediction of ground movement due to deep excavation and constructional methodology to be adopted, and assessment of risk to the heritage building, including potential damage due to deep excavation, piling, and other constructional disturbances such as vibration propagation, if any.
- Proposal for monitoring scheme for the heritage building during construction, including Tilt, Settlement, Cracks, and other distresses.
- Probability of ground movement due to proposed construction and Structural Impact Assessment of the referred RCTC building of heritage importance, incorporating soil structure interaction analysis (only Plaxis 2D model shall be evaluated).
- Support for vetting from Jadavpur University.
