  • Compliance: Ensure designs meet local building codes and standards.
  • Supervision: Monitor the construction process to ensure proper implementation of the design.

• Documentation: Construction drawings, BOQ, and cost estimation.
• Approvals: Regulatory approvals and compliance checks.
• Construction Support: Revision of design documents to accommodate site-specific constraints and requirements during the construction phase.

DOMESTIC TERMINAL BUILDING AT PARO INTERNATION AIRPORT

  • Ramp Rest Room at Paro Airport
  • The Emergency Response Centre at Yonphula, Bhutan
• Submission of a CAD copy of all files, meaning thereby soft copies of the drawings.

MUMBAI COASTAL ROAD PROJECT

Project Overview

• The Mumbai Coastal Road features a submerged tunnel in Package IV.
• The tunnel consists of a 3,000 m long twin tube with two lanes and an emergency lane (expanded to three lanes during high traffic intensity).
• It includes cross passages every 300 m and one pump shaft.
• For excavation, a Hydro shield-TBM will be used.
• The road is situated approximately 22 m below sea level.
• Beneath Malabar Hill, the overburden at the crown reaches up to 70 m (along the shore).
• The tunnel intrados has a diameter of 11 m and utilizes precast segments (referred to as “universal segments”).
• Prefabricated, walkable technical canals are present at each invert.
• The cut & cover intrados section measures 11 x 6.5 meters.
• Ramps connect the project to the bridge viaducts in the north and the existing road network in the south, along Marine Drive.

Achievement

• Use of circular struts reduced cost by 10%. Large span around 30m without any king post of runner beams. Thus, having more working space.

Achievement

• Cost optimization in Temporary Strutting System 30%. Used available built-up section about 15%.

• Design of Temporary Formwork for cast in-situ Pier Caps and Heads, includes design for pedestal structures supporting girders
• Design of Temporary Formwork for cast in-situ Portal Beams
• Design of Temporary Formwork for cast in-situ Concrete Girders
• Design of Temporary Formwork for cast in-situ Deck Slabs

Achievement

• Optimize costs in temporary formwork by developing a formwork scheme utilizing materials available on-site.
